I just had a super encounter with God!!
Okay..I have been having stomach aches every time after I eat
I decided to fast and pray during dinner time to pray against this constant ache
So i worshiped, prayed, and start asking God to show me something, be it a verse, vision, or word
I waited for quite long, with no music nothing.. till I almost fall asleep!
So anw, "Isaiah" came to me, then I asked God what chapter and verse
At first I thought to myself.."ok, look at my iPhone timing to get the chapter and verse"
But i felt is not..so i waited longer till i saw "22"
Next i asked God for the verse..but nothing came..i just see "22"
I took my bible and flip to Isa 22, but before i read, i roughly said to myself "ok, check my iphone to see if there's a 22" for like a confirmation
I looked at my clock first and saw it was 8:25, then i checked my iphone and it was 8.22!!
so yup tt was definitely a confirmation on what i'm about to read!
Before i continue what God spoke to me.. i wanna share another confirmation!
I was sharing this with Yangcheng, so before i started i wanted him to read the bible verse i'm sharing on..but i didn't notice when i read..so i took my bible flip to Isa 22..look for tt verse..and YOU KNOW WHAT..its VERSE 22!!
So i guess all the while God was just pointing me to Isa 22:22..that's why i didn't see any numbers other den "22"..
GOD is so real man!
So i read the whole chapter a few times, cos i didn't really understand..besides reading chap 22..i read a few other chapters in the book of Isaiah with the word "Jerusalem" in the heading, trying to understand..
I read online commentaries too, and one of them points me to Rev 3:7 which almost the same as Isa 22:22
When i flip to Rev3:7, it was already highlighted! another confirmation!
Isa 22:22
I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
Rev 3:7
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.
So i spend super long(8:22pm to 11pm) trying to get what God is telling me..
and finally i got it!
so from the 2 verses, whoever holds the key of David..both isiaish 22 and rev 3 says that he can open doors no one can shut, and shut doors no one can open.
How to get this key?
God will choose who He wants to give it to. (Isa 22:20, He chose this guy called Eliakim)
If u read the v20 onwards, the key represents authority.
Then i read this commentary..he said in today's time..when they want a change of government power..the will give a large key as a representation..so is about authority.
So in today's time, we are all chosen by God rite?
which means we all have the Key of David.
so why is it called key of David?
David was a man after God's own heart
why is he a man aft God's own heart?
He brought the ark of covenant..which is God's presence into the heart of Jerusalem
so that people can worship all day and night.
God's heart is to be in the midst of his people rite?
and we look at David's history
because he was a man after God's own heart
he conquered one city aft another
In 1 Chronicles 18, "The Lord gave David victory wherever he went." appeared a few times
and so similarly..in today's time, as we already have this key of david rite
what is the other part of the equation to have victory everywhere we go like David did?
it is to be in his presence all day n night, to be a man aft God's own heart
So God's presence + key of david = conquering cities..open doors no one can shut, shut no one can open
so God is teaching me to be in his presence 24/7 and with the authority he have given me..i can conqure cities after cities
Which is SUPER timely for me, because recently I am super pumped up by the power God have given me.
I watched many testimonies by young youths and young adults going out and healing people, clearing floors of hospital patients!
and I wanna do the same, and experience it myself instead of just watching people's testimonies!
We serve the same God rite?
so anw..
to me, open doors no one can shut means..
i go to this person..open the door of his heart..pray for him, heal him, prophecy over him, etc and no one can stop me from healing him, no one can stop me from ministering to that person
So what is shut doors no one can open..
means when i pray for healing and that person is healed..that person is completely free from that sickness
and so "shut" means healed, its done..no one can open the door put back the same sickness in him.
and this is just referring to one person
imagine is the whole Ang Mo Kio, whole singapore, whole world!
once we God chosen ones goes out and minister..no one can shut that door, no one can stop us from conquering city after city!
and once we leave and move to another city..that city we just left who is filled with God's presence, etc no one can open
Like in Isa 36 and 37, the enemies was going to attack Jerusalem, but because of the king's faith in God, Jerusalem was protected completely from their enemies!
So once the door of that city is shut, no enemies can even go near the city!
cos we do everything in God's authority
which is the key of David
Sooo..
God is affirming me to go out to the streets, not be afraid, not feel inadequate, because I have the key of David that i can open doors no one can shut, and shut doors no one can open!!
