GRACE & LOVE!
I just felt like blogging on this topic.
I have no bible verses to prove what i'm saying here.
But i know what i believe is true, and can be found somewhere in the bible, just that i'm too lazy to go find out..Hahahahas.
you know, after i understood this truth about the new covenant grace, about God's love..
I am really EXCITED to see how God can move in my life, to live that victorious life many talk about.
and I am very glad that I have friends that encourages me, and share the same beliefs.
Last time, i never never understood how much God loves us.
Even though it's been preached many times, i never could fully understand God's love.
But now, i grasp hold of this TRUTH that...
God loves us for who we are, and not for what we do
We can't earn God's love because God's love is freely given.
We are cleansed from all sins, free from guilt, and that all our sins are forgiven because of Jesus Christ who died on the cross, to pay the price for all human mankind.
We are sinners saved by Grace!
The moment when Jesus was crucified on the cross and said "it is finished", it is the moment when we humans come under God's grace, where we do not need to follow the law that was established before.
Why we don't have to follow the law?
Because we humans are incapable of following every law that was laid out.
If we are still under Law, the consequences of sin is death.
What so amazing about God is that....
God understands and know that we are incapable of following every single law, thus sending his Son Jesus to die on the cross, and set us free from all sins.
Not only free from sins, but from the penalty of death! Furthermore, God gives us ETERNAL LIFE!
WOW rite? Awesome rite?
This is how much God love us man!
You know when i finally grasp hold of this truth rite, I just feel different in a good way.
like I said earlier, I just can't wait to see and receive the overflowing blessings from God!
I can't wait to see how my life can be when i fully understand that we are now living under the new covenant grace.
and I really hope many of us out there can soon realize this truth!
It's a scary thought that many of us don't know.. some of us may know about God's grace, but we still don't entirely understand and believe.
you know, many of us say things like "he is preaching too much on grace", "preaching too much on blessings", "this prosperity preacher again....."
my questions is what is too much?
It's like your father say i will give you 10 million dollars.
Then you reply and say..oh 10 million is too much..just give me 1 million.
Why ask for something less when you know clearly that you can receive so much more!
If you really think about it, it's really silly for anyone to reject that 10 million dollars rite? Hahahas
anw anw..hope u understand what i trying to say through this messy post! HAahas..
to end of i just wanna say..
God loves you for who you are, not for what you do.
e.g. (this e.g. is from what i personally believe before)
You prayed before a taking an exam. You got back your results, and got a Distinction!
What does this mean?
When you prayed before the exam, in your heart you tell yourself that, "I better pray, if i don't pray i won't get good grades"
So you believe that you got good grades because you prayed before taking the exam, and subsequent exams, you believe in praying before taking the paper in order to get better grades.
But nope! you get good grades because GOD LOVES YOU!
You didn't get good grades because you prayed!
It is NOT your works that God loves you..It is YOU that God loves you!
please don't argue with me about, it is because i studied that i get good grades.
that is not the point i trying to bring across..just an e.g..may not be the best e.g.
so anw Remember..
God loves you FOR WHO YOU ARE, NOT for what you do!
